RBI Grade B Officer Recruitment 2025 – 120 Vacancies
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a notification inviting applications for the recruitment of Grade B Officers under Notification No. RBISB/DA/03/2025-26. A total of 120 vacancies have been announced across General, DEPR, and DSIM cadres.
Important Dates
The online application process started on 10 September 2025 and will remain open until 30 September 2025. Candidates will be able to print their applications until 15 October 2025. The Phase I Examination for General cadre is scheduled on 18 October 2025, followed by Phase II on 06 December 2025. For DEPR and DSIM cadres, Phase I will be held on 19 October 2025, and Phase II on 07 December 2025.
Application Fees
Applicants from General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay ₹850 plus 18% GST (inclusive of intimation charges). Candidates from SC, ST, and PwBD categories will pay only ₹100 plus 18% GST as intimation charges. RBI staff members are exempted from paying any fee.
Vacancy Details and Eligibility
The recruitment is being conducted for three categories of officers:
- Officers in Grade B (DR) – General Cadre: 83 posts. Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline or an equivalent technical/professional qualification. The age limit is 21 to 30 years as on 1 September 2025.
- Officers in Grade B (DR) – DEPR Cadre: 17 posts. Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related disciplines. Age limit is 21 to 30 years as on 1 September 2025.
- Officers in Grade B (DR) – DSIM Cadre: 20 posts. A Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in relevant statistical or quantitative fields is required. Age limit is 21 to 30 years as on 1 September 2025.
For all cadres, the starting basic pay is ₹78,450 per month, along with other allowances and benefits as per RBI rules.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of Phase I (preliminary) examination, Phase II (main) examination, and an interview. Candidates who qualify in Phase I will be shortlisted for Phase II, and final selection will be based on overall performance in Phase II and interview.
