Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) Recruitment – Punjab (September 2025)
The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India, has announced multiple vacancies for full-time positions at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, New Chandigarh and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Sangrur (Punjab).
TMC is a Comprehensive Cancer Centre dedicated to high-quality patient care, research, prevention, and education in oncology and allied sciences. It is affiliated with the Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), a deemed university of the Department of Atomic Energy.

Scientific Assistant ‘C’ (Nuclear Medicine) – 2 posts (1 UR, 1 SC)
Pay Level: 07, ₹44,900/- + allowances
Age: 35 years
Qualification: B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Nuclear Medicine with PGDFIT/DMRIT and RSO-II certification, or equivalent qualifications. Relevant post-qualification experience mandatory.
Assistant Medical Social Worker – 1 post (EWS)
Pay Level: 06, ₹35,400/- + allowances
Age: 30 years
Qualification: MSW (Social Sciences) with at least 1 year experience, preferably in medical social work.
Clinical Psychologist – 1 post (UR)
Pay Level: 06, ₹35,400/- + allowances
Age: 30 years
Qualification: M.A. in Clinical Psychology with 3 years’ experience in psychometric testing, therapy, and counselling. Experience with cancer/chronic illness patients desirable.
Pharmacist ‘C1’ – 1 post (ST)

Qualification: B.Pharm/D.Pharm with registration under State Pharmacy Council. Hospital experience (3 years for B.Pharm, 5 years for D.Pharm) required.

Qualification: B.Sc. with 2 years’ experience as CSSD Technician.

Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (Radiodiagnosis) – 1 post (OBC)
Qualification: B.Sc. Radiological Imaging Technology OR B.Sc. with Diploma in Medical Imaging. Experience in CT/MRI essential.
Scientific Assistant ‘B’ (Transfusion Medicine) – 2 posts (1 UR, 1 SC)
Qualification: B.Sc. with DMLT/Blood Bank Tech OR B.Sc. (MLT). Experience in FDA licensed blood bank required.
Leading Fireman – 1 post (UR)
Pay Level: 04, ₹25,500/- + allowances
Age: 25–30 years
Qualification: 12th pass + Fire Training/Diploma in Fire & Safety, 3 years’ experience, physical standards as per notification, LMV & two-wheeler license.
Technician ‘C’ (Dental & Prosthetic Surgery – Mechanic) – 1 post (UR)
Qualification: 12th Science + Diploma in Dental Mechanic + 3 years’ experience.
Technician ‘C’ (ICU) – 1 post (UR)
Qualification: 12th Science + ICU/OT/Dialysis Technician Diploma + 3 years’ experience.
Technician ‘C’ (Operation Theater) – 3 posts (2 UR, 1 ST)
Qualification: 12th Science + OT/ICU Technician Diploma + 3 years’ experience.
Technician ‘A’ (CSSD) – 1 post (UR)

Qualification: 12th Science + CSSD Diploma with 1 year hospital experience.

Application Process
Applications must be submitted online only at the official TMC portal.
Last date for submission: 06/10/2025 up to 5:30 PM (IST).
Candidates must upload all supporting documents (DOB, qualification, experience, caste, disability, etc.) at the time of application.
Application fee: ₹300/- (online payment).
Exempted: SC, ST, PwD, Female, and Ex-servicemen (first civil post application).
Selection will involve Written Examination and Skill Test (for most posts) or Physical Test + Written + Skill Test (for Fireman).
Other Details
- Age and experience will be reckoned as on 06/10/2025.
- Reservations apply as per Government of India rules.

- Candidates may be posted at any TMC unit across India and must serve at the initial posting location for at least 5 years.
- Appointments may also be offered on a contract basis depending on institutional needs.
