The State Bank of India (SBI) has released Advertisement No. CRPD/CR/2025-26/06 for the recruitment of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in clerical cadre. A total of 6589 vacancies have been announced, including backlog posts.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must hold a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.
- Those in the final year/semester of their graduation can also apply provisionally, subject to passing the exam before the final joining date.
Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02 August 1997 and not later than 01 August 2005 (both days inclusive).
- Age relaxation applies for reserved categories as per Government norms.
Pay Scale
Initial Basic Pay: ₹19,900/- (₹17,900 + 2 advance increments)
Pay progression (examples as per 7th CPC clerical cadre):
₹24,050 – ₹28,070 – ₹33,020 – ₹41,020 – ₹47,400 – ₹51,800 – up to ₹64,480 with annual increments
Total emoluments (with allowances): approx. ₹29,000 – ₹30,000 per month (varies with posting location).
Selection Process
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Test) – Online
- Main Examination (Objective Test) – Online
- Language Proficiency Test (for candidates who have not studied the specified local language at school level)
- Final Selection based on performance in Mains and fulfillment of eligibility criteria
