IB JIO Recruitment 2025 – 394 Junior Intelligence Officer Vacancies
The Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home Affairs, has announced a recruitment notification for Junior Intelligence Officer (JIO) Grade-II/Technical (Tech Exam 2025). A total of 394 vacancies are available for eligible candidates with engineering, science, or computer qualifications.

Application Fees
Recruitment Processing Charges (All candidates): ₹550/-
Examination Fee (in addition to above, for Male candidates of UR, EWS & OBC categories): ₹100/-
Payment can be made through online mode or offline via SBI challan.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following:
- Diploma in Engineering in relevant fields, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with specialization in Electronics / Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics, OR
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- Age relaxations apply as per Government of India rules.
Pay Scale
- ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 (Level-4, 7th CPC Pay Matrix)
- Plus allowances as admissible to Central Government employees.
Selection Process
The selection for JIO-II/Tech will consist of:
- Written Examination (Objective type)
- Skill Test / Technical Test
- Interview / Personality Assessment
- Medical Examination
Final selection will be based on merit and medical fitness.
