The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway, has released Notification No. RRC-ER/Act Apprentices/2025-26 dated 31 July 2025 for the engagement of Act Apprentices. A total of 3115 vacancies have been announced for various trades across different divisions and workshops of Eastern Railway.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10th Class (Matriculation) or equivalent under the 10+2 examination system with at least 50% marks.
- Must also possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 15 years
- Maximum age: 24 years (as on the date of notification)
- Relaxation in upper age limit applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
