The Ministry of Railways (Govt. of India) invites online applications for Paramedical Category posts under CEN 03/2025: Nursing Superintendent, Dialysis Technician, Health & Malaria Inspector Grade II, Pharmacist (Entry Grade), Radiographer (X-Ray Technician), ECG Technician, Laboratory Assistant Grade II.

🩺 Medical Standards (short)
- B1: Fit; distant 6/9, 6/12 (± glasses ≤4D); near Sn 0.6; colour/binocular/night/mesopic vision tests.
- C1: Fit; distant 6/12, 6/18; near Sn 0.6.
- C2: Fit; distant 6/12, nil (one eye permissible); near Sn 0.6 combined.
🇮🇳 Nationality / Citizenship
Indian nationals; plus eligible Nepalese/Bhutanese/Tibetan refugees and PIO migrants as per rules. Certificate of eligibility (where applicable) to be produced at DV.
🎓 Educational Qualifications
Must possess the prescribed qualification on or before 08.09.2025 (closing date). Final-year/result-awaited candidates are not eligible. See Annexure A for post-wise EQs.
🎯 Age Relaxation (highlights)
SC/ST: +5 yrs; OBC-NCL: +3 yrs; PwBD: +10/13/15 yrs (UR/OBC/SC-ST); plus Ex-Servicemen, serving Railway staff, certain female categories, etc., as per para 5.2.
💳 Examination Fee & Refund
- ₹500 for others — ₹400 refundable on appearing in CBT (bank charges deducted).
- ₹250 for SC/ST/ExSM/PwBD/Female/Transgender/Minorities/EBC — ₹250 refundable on appearing in CBT.

🧪 Selection Process
Single-stage CBT (objective MCQs; negative marking @⅓), followed by Document Verification and Medical. Multi-shift normalization will apply. Minimum qualifying marks: UR/EWS 40%, OBC/SC 30%, ST 25% (PwBD relaxation up to 2 marks where applicable).
📝 How to Apply (essentials)
Apply online only via the official RRB website of your chosen Board. Create/Use your RRB account, fill details carefully, upload signature (as per spec) and required docs, pay fee, and submit. Only one RRB can be chosen; multiple applications lead to rejection/debarment. E-call letters for CBT/DV/ME will be released on RRB websites (no post).

- Ensure you meet medical standards for the post(s) you opt.
- Keep mobile number and email active throughout the process.
- Banned items (mobiles, watches, electronics, etc.) are not allowed at the exam venue.
- Scribe facility: strictly as per para 11.7; scribe must register and be confirmed in the portal during the scribe window.
- Free sleeper-class travel for eligible SC/ST candidates (on request) as per rules.
