CCRAS Group A, B & C Recruitment 2025 – 394 Vacancies (Last Date Extended)
The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) has released a large-scale recruitment notification for various Group A, Group B, and Group C posts under Advertisement No. 4/2025. A total of 394 vacancies are available across multiple positions including Research Officers, Staff Nurse, Stenographers, Clerks, Pharmacists, Drivers, and Multi-Tasking Staff.
Originally, the application window was set to close earlier, but the last date has now been extended. Candidates can submit their applications online until 22 September 2025.

The online application process started on 01 August 2025. The closing date for submission of applications and fee payment has been extended up to 22 September 2025.
Application Fees
For Group A posts, the processing fee is ₹100, and the application fee for unreserved and OBC candidates is ₹200. SC, ST, PwD, EWS, ex-servicemen, and female candidates are exempted from payment. For Group B and Group C posts, fees will be as per the official guidelines mentioned in the notification.
Vacancy and Eligibility
The recruitment drive covers a wide range of posts:
- Group A Posts include Research Officer (Pathology) and Research Officer (Ayurveda). These require postgraduate or MD/MS qualifications, with an age limit not exceeding 40 years.
- Group B Posts include Assistant Research Officer (Pharmacology), Staff Nurse, Assistant, Translator (Hindi Assistant), and Medical Laboratory Technologist. Most of these positions require graduate or postgraduate qualifications in the relevant field, with an age limit up to 30–35 years.
- Group C Posts form the largest category, covering Research Assistants (in Chemistry, Botany, Pharmacology, Organic Chemistry, Pharmacy, and related fields), Stenographers, Statistical Assistant, Upper Division Clerk, Lower Division Clerk, Pharmacist, Offset Machine Operator, Library Clerk, Laboratory Attendant, Driver, Security In-Charge, and Multi-Tasking Staff. The minimum eligibility varies from 10th pass, 12th pass, ITI, Diploma, or Graduate degrees, depending on the role. The maximum age limit for these posts generally ranges between 27 and 30 years.
The pay scales range from ₹5,200 – ₹20,200 for entry-level Group C posts, up to ₹15,600 – ₹39,100 for Group A officers, along with applicable grade pay.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted through written examinations, skill tests (for posts like Stenographer, Driver, and MTS), and interviews where applicable. Final selection will depend on merit, reservation norms, and performance in the recruitment stages.
