Overview
AIIMS New Delhi has issued Notification No. 268/2025 for the recruitment of Nursing Officers through the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-9). The recruitment will be conducted in two stages – a Preliminary Exam and a Mains Exam, both in online (CBT) mode. Candidates possessing B.Sc Nursing or equivalent qualifications are eligible to apply online within the prescribed dates.

Important Dates
The online application process begins on 22 July 2025 and will close on 11 August 2025. The Stage I Preliminary Examination will be conducted on 14 September 2025, and the Stage II Mains Examination will be held on 27 September 2025.

Application Fees
The application fee is ₹3000 for General and OBC category candidates, ₹2400 for SC, ST, and EWS category candidates, while Persons with Disabilities (PwD) are exempted from the payment of fees.

Vacancy and Eligibility
There are a total of 3500 vacancies for the post of Nursing Officer. Applicants must possess B.Sc (Hons) Nursing, B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Post Certificate, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, or a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with registration as a Nurse and Midwife. The age limit is 18 to 30 years. The pay scale is ₹9300–34800 with Grade Pay ₹4600.
