APPSC – Forest Section Officer Recruitment 2025 (100 Vacancies)
The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has released Notification No. 07/2025 dated 22 July 2025 for the recruitment of Forest Section Officers. A total of 100 vacancies are available, and applications must be submitted online before 17 August 2025.

Vacancy Details
Forest Section Officer – 100 posts
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Botany, Forestry, Horticulture, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Geology, Agriculture, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in a relevant discipline from a recognized university
- Age limit: 18 to 30 years as on 1 July 2025 (age relaxations as per government rules)
- Pay scale: ₹32,670 – ₹1,01,970
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a screening test, main examination, and physical standards/efficiency tests as prescribed in the official notification.
