Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC) – Group C Recruitment 2025 (439 Vacancies)
The Goa Staff Selection Commission has released Notification No. 02/2025 dated 18 July 2025 for the recruitment of various Group C posts including Junior Engineers, Linemen, Accountants, and other positions. A total of 439 vacancies are available across multiple departments, and eligible candidates are invited to apply online before 8 August 2025.

Application Fee
For posts in Level 1 to 3 of the CCS Revised Pay Rules, 2016:
- UR: ₹400
- SC/ST: ₹100
- OBC: ₹100
- EWS: ₹200
For posts in Level 4 and above of the CCS Revised Pay Rules, 2016:
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): ₹100
Eligibility Criteria
The educational qualifications vary depending on the post, ranging from ITI certification to graduate degrees. The maximum age limit for most posts is 45 years, except for the State Tax Inspector post, which has a limit of 30 years.

- Mechanic Grade I (Diesel) – 1 post (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)
- Agriculture Assistant – 5 posts (HSSC in Vocational Stream with Agriculture specialization)
- Electrician – 1 post (Government or ITI Electrician Certificate)
- Lineman/Wireman – 35 posts (Certificate in Electrician trade from recognized authority)
- Meter Reader – 31 posts (SSC or equivalent)
- Assistant Electrician – 1 post (ITI Certificate in Electrician)
- Assistant Mechanic – 2 posts (Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering)
- Assistant Light Operator – 2 posts (ITI Certificate in Electrical)
- Helper Electrician – 1 post (ITI Certificate in relevant trade or equivalent)
Pay Scale
The pay levels vary from Level 1 to Level 6 as per the CCS Revised Pay Rules, 2016, depending on the post.
