All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna has released an official recruitment notification (No. F-148351/SR (Res. Sch.) Rect./2025-Phase II) dated 10 July 2025 for the engagement of Senior Residents in various departments. The institute invites online applications from eligible candidates to fill a total of 152 vacancies. The last date for submitting the online application is 30 July 2025. Late submissions will not be entertained.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess an MD, MS, DNB, DM, or M.Ch degree in the relevant specialty from a recognized institute. The maximum age limit is 45 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government of India rules.

The 152 Senior Resident vacancies are distributed across multiple departments, including Anaesthesiology (15), Anatomy (2), Biochemistry (2), CTVS (3), Clinical Haematology (6), Community & Family Medicine (4), Dentistry (1), Dermatology (6), ENT (6), Forensic Medicine & Toxicology (4), General Medicine (18), General Surgery (16), Hospital Administration (1), Microbiology (5), Neonatology (5), Nuclear Medicine (2), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (5), Ophthalmology (6), Orthopaedics (4), Paediatrics (8), Pathology & Lab Medicine (9), Pharmacology (3), Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (4), Psychiatry (2), Radiodiagnosis (10), Radiotherapy (4), and Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank (1).
Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed at Level 11 of the 7th CPC pay matrix with an entry pay of ₹67,700 plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and usual admissible allowances.
Selection Process
The selection will be made through a written examination followed by document verification for shortlisted candidates.
