Pay Scale: ₹18,000/- (Level 1) as per the 7th Central Pay Commission.

Age Limit:
- Between 18 years to 35 years as on 01.01.2025.
- Age relaxation for candidates who have served under the Central/State Government, Autonomous Organizations, or similar institutions. Relaxation is for a maximum of 5 years based on the regular service rendered.
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum Middle Standard (Class 8) and maximum 10+2 (Higher Secondary) from a recognized school/board.
- Note: Candidates with higher qualifications are not eligible for direct recruitment.
Nationality:
- A citizen of India, Nepal, or a Tibetan refugee (arrived before January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement in India).
Character Certificate:
- A certificate from the last attended institution or from previous employer is required.

Candidates who:

Have entered into or contracted a marriage with a person who already has a living spouse.
Having a spouse living, enter into marriage with another person.

Screening Test (if required):
- In case of a large number of applications, a screening test may be conducted.
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit in the screening test, and only those shortlisted will be called for the interview.
- Marks obtained in the screening test will not be counted towards the final selection.
Interview:
- Final selection will be based on merit in the interview, which will carry 50 marks.
- A waiting list may be prepared and will be valid for six months.

Selection Committee’s Decision:
The decision of the Selection Committee regarding eligibility, selection criteria, etc., will be final and binding. No further correspondence will be entertained.

- The application form should be filled in block letters and submitted in the prescribed format, available on the official website.

The application form must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked:

- Fee should be paid via Bank Draft drawn in favor of ‘Chandigarh Judicial Academy’, payable at Chandigarh.

Attested copies of all supporting documents (qualification, date of birth, experience certificate, etc.).

Two self-addressed stamped envelopes (9”x4” inches).
Two recent passport-sized photographs (one to be pasted on the application form, the other to be enclosed).
No Objection Certificate (if currently employed in any government service).

Admit Card: Admit Cards will be issued to eligible candidates.
No TA/DA: Candidates will not be paid any TA/DA for attending the screening test/interview.
