📌 Internship Overview

DGRE invites applications from bright and meritorious Indian students for a 6-month paid internship, starting August 2025. This opportunity is open to students currently pursuing undergraduate (B.Tech) and postgraduate (M.Sc./M.Tech) degrees in relevant fields. The internship is to be undertaken as part of their academic curriculum.

🧑‍🎓 Eligible Disciplines

For B.Tech (Undergraduate Students):

Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)
Civil Engineering (CIE)

For M.Sc/M.Tech (Postgraduate Students):

Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics (RS)

Total 6 internship seats are available across all categories.

💰 Stipend

₹5,000 per month
To be paid in two installments:
- First installment after 3 months
- Second installment after successful completion of 6 months
Minimum attendance of 15 working days per month is mandatory to receive stipend.

📋 Eligibility Criteria

Indian Nationals only
Must be pursuing full-time B.Tech/M.Sc/M.Tech from AICTE/UGC-approved institute
Internship must be part of their degree curriculum
Consistent academic record with 75% marks or 7.5+ CGPA
Age must be below 28 years
Must be nominated by the Principal / HOD / TPO of the college
Final selection based on academic merit and online/telephonic interview
No boarding/lodging/transport will be provided

📄 Selection Process

Shortlisting based on marks/CGPA
Interview or interaction (online/telephonic)
Communication to selected students will be via email only
DGRE reserves full right to reject incomplete or late applications

📦 Required Documents (To be submitted at the time of joining)

Bonafide Certificate from the college
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college
Police verification from home town
Undertaking for Official Secrets Act and IT Rules
Bank account details for stipend transfer
Aadhaar Card and College ID (Original + Copy)
All semester mark sheets (Originals for verification)
Three recent passport-sized photographs

⚠️ Important Terms

Internship will be terminated if student is found involved in any indisciplinary activity
No claim for future employment with DRDO
No leave will be granted except for sick leave (with valid medical certificate)
Strict adherence to lab rules, IT policy, and confidentiality is mandatory
