MPPSC Food Safety Officer Recruitment 2025 – 67 Vacancies (Re-Opened)
The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has re-opened the recruitment process for the post of Food Safety Officer (FSO) under Notification No. 04/2025. A total of 67 vacancies are available. The original notification was released on 23 June 2025, and the last date for submission of online applications has now been extended up to 30 October 2025.
Important Dates
The online application process will re-open from 11 July 2025 and will now continue until 30 October 2025. Earlier, the last date was 10 August 2025. Candidates will also be given the facility to edit or correct their application forms between 16 September 2025 and 01 November 2025.
Application Fees
The application fee for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS category candidates is ₹250, while for all other categories it is ₹500.
Vacancy and Eligibility
This recruitment drive is specifically for the post of Food Safety Officer (FSO) with 67 vacancies. Applicants must hold a Graduation, Post-Graduation, or Doctoral Degree in any of the following disciplines: Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, or Medicine.
The age limit for applying is between 21 and 40 years as on 1 January 2026. The pay scale for the post is ₹36,200 – ₹1,14,800 as per state government rules.
Selection Process
The selection process will include a written examination conducted by MPPSC, followed by document verification and medical examination for shortlisted candidates. Detailed syllabus and exam pattern will be mentioned in the official notification.
