π What is BPSC 71st CCE?
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducts the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) to recruit eligible candidates for various prestigious Group A and Group B posts in the Bihar state government. The 71st edition of the CCE has been officially notified, and the number of vacancies has been increased from 1250 to 1264 posts.

π Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
Graduation in any stream (BA, BSc, BCom, B.Tech, BBA, etc.) from a recognized university.
Age Limit (as on 1 August 2025):
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age:
General (Male): 37 years
OBC/MBC (Male/Female): 40 years
SC/ST (Male/Female): 42 years
General (Female): 40 years
Age relaxation applies as per Bihar Govt. norms.

π Selection Process:
The BPSC 71st CCE is conducted in three stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type β 1 paper of 150 marks)
- Main Examination (Descriptive β General Hindi, General Studies Papers I & II, Optional Subject)
- Interview (120 Marks)

- Total Questions: 150 (MCQs)

- Duration: 2 hours
- Negative Marking: No
Note: Prelims is only qualifying in nature. Marks obtained are not counted in the final merit list.
