The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has announced a large-scale recruitment drive under Notification No. 8/2025 for various technical and officer-level posts. This Combined Technical Services Examination (CTS 2025) offers a wide array of job roles in different departments under the Tamil Nadu Government.

Notification Date: 7th May 2025
Starting Date for Online Application: 13th May 2025

Application Fees

One-Time Registration Fee: ₹150/-
Examination Fee: ₹200/-

Note: Candidates who have already paid the One-Time Registration Fee within the last 5 years do not need to pay it again.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

Maximum age for most posts is 32 years as on 1st July 2025, except for specific positions like Scientist C Grade, Assistant Superintendent, and Assistant Director Industries & Commerce, which allow up to 37 or 40 years depending on the post.

Educational Qualification:

The required qualification varies by post. Here are some highlights:

Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (216 posts): B.V.Sc. / B.V.Sc. & A.H. + Tamil in SSLC or equivalent
Deputy Director Legal: Degree in Law
Assistant Director Statistics: PG in Statistics / Economics / Mathematics
Assistant Manager (Various Disciplines): Degree in Engineering or PG in relevant field
Factory Manager: B.E. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Regional/Chief Sthapathi: Degree in Traditional Architecture or Fine Arts
Scientist C: Ph.D. in Biotechnology
Psychologist, Sociologist, Entomologist, Planner, Archaeologist, and many more
