The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CG Vyapam) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Sub Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for diploma holders in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical engineering disciplines to work in the public sector under the Chhattisgarh government.

There are a total of 113 vacancies distributed as follows:
- Sub Engineer (Civil) – 96 posts
- Sub Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) – 17 posts

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- For Sub Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- For Sub Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical): Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
Age Limit:
- Applicants must be between 20 to 35 years of age as on 1st January 2025.
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per state government norms.

- General category: ₹350/-
- OBC category: ₹250/-
- SC/ST/PwBD candidates: ₹200/-
Payment must be made through online mode while filling the application form.

Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Matrix Level 8, with a salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month, as per Chhattisgarh government pay rules.

- Written Examination – Objective type exam based on relevant technical subjects.
- Document Verification – Candidates who qualify the exam will be called for verification of certificates.
