Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for applying:
Educational Qualification: The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.Sc.) or equivalent from a recognized university. Additionally, candidates should have passed Punjabi as a subject at the Matriculation (10th) level.
Typing/Shorthand Requirement: Applicants should have a proficiency in shorthand and typing, with a speed of 80 wpm in shorthand and 20 wpm in transcription on a computer.
Age Limit: The candidate must be between 18 to 37 years of age as on 1st January 2025. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Punjab Government rules for reserved categories.

Pay Scale
The selected candidates will be appointed on a consolidated salary of Rs. 29,200/- per month, as per the Punjab Government norms applicable to Stenographer Grade III posts.

Selection Process
The selection shall be based on:
- Shorthand and Typing Test – Candidates will be required to pass a skill test in English shorthand and computer typing.
- Document Verification – Candidates who qualify the test will be called for document verification and further instructions.
