Educational Qualification:
Candidates must hold any of the following degrees:
- B.Sc (in relevant discipline)
- B.Tech / B.E.
- Master’s Degree
- BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences)
Experience:
Candidates with prior professional or consultancy experience in standards development or technical roles will be preferred.
Age Limit:
- Maximum age: 65 years
- Cut-off date for age is the last date of application submission (09 May 2025)
Remuneration:
- The pay scale or consolidated fee has not been disclosed in the notification and will be provided as per BIS norms.

📝 Nature of Work
The Consultants will be engaged primarily in Standards Formulation and related technical tasks under various divisions of BIS. They are expected to assist in activities like drafting standards, stakeholder consultations, research, data collation, and committee coordination.
