Overview:
CSIR-CSIO invites applications for temporary positions under sponsored R&D and Skill Development Projects. These positions are purely contractual and co-terminus with the duration of the projects. A waitlisted panel will also be prepared for future requirements.

Project Title: CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative (CSIR-ISI) Programme Phase III
Available Positions:
Senior Project Associate (S-PAT)
- Vacancies: 2
- Stipend: ₹42,000/- + HRA
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical with 3 years R&D experience
OR M.Tech. in any discipline
- Desirable: Experience in academic, industrial, or research institutes involving innovation, training, or soft skills
- Upper Age Limit: 40 years
Project Associate I (PAT-I)
- Vacancies: 3
- Stipend:
₹31,000/- + HRA (for NET/GATE qualified)
₹25,000/- + HRA (others)
- Qualification:
a. For Mechanical/Production role: B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production
b. For Electronics/Mechatronics role: B.E. in Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer
- Desirable: 1 year experience in R&D, training, robotics, IoT, control systems, embedded systems, etc.
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Project Assistant II
- Vacancies: 1
- Stipend: ₹20,000/- + HRA (15% increment after 3 years)
- Qualification: Diploma in Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical
- Desirable: 1 year experience in practical training, CNC, CAD/CAM, additive manufacturing, etc.
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Total Tentative Vacancies: 5
Project Duration: Till 31st March 2030

Important Dates (Tentative):
- Result of Screening Process: 3–5 days after last date
- Interview (Physical/Virtual): 3–5 days after screening result
- Declaration of Final Result: 3–5 days after interview
- Offer of Engagement: 3–5 days after result
- Maximum Joining Time: 15 days from date of offer

Additional Details:
- Candidates who have already worked for 6–7 years in CSIR projects are not eligible.
- Selected candidates will be evaluated every 3–6 months for performance.
- Only self-medical facilities via CSIR-CSIO dispensary available.
- Security deposit equal to 15 days’ stipend will be required at the time of joining (refundable).
- No TA/DA for interview.
- Selected candidates will have no claim to regular employment in CSIR-CSIO.
- Reservation as per rules (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Women).
- Applications with incomplete qualifications or awaiting results will be rejected.
