Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
Age Limit
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 35 years
- Age will be calculated as on 1st January 2025.
- Age relaxation is applicable as per Himachal Pradesh government norms for reserved categories.

- ₹600 for General category, EWS, General Physically Disabled, Wards of General Ex-servicemen, and candidates from other states.
- ₹150 for SC, ST, OBC, Wards of SC/ST/OBC Freedom Fighters and Ex-servicemen (Himachal Pradesh only).
- No Fee for Female candidates and Ex-servicemen of Himachal Pradesh.

Selection Process
The HPAS 2025 selection process consists of the following stages:
- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
- Main Written Examination (Descriptive Type)
- Personality Test / Interview
Candidates who qualify the Preliminary stage will be shortlisted for the Main Examination, followed by a Personality Test.
