🎓 Educational Qualifications (as on closing date – 11 May 2025)

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

Matriculation/SSLC + ITI in any of the following trades:
Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Electronics Mechanic, Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic, Turner, Machinist, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio and TV)

Matriculation/SSLC + Completed Act Apprenticeship in above trades

Matriculation/SSLC + 3-year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering

Engineering Degree in any of the above disciplines

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 30 years (UR/EWS)
Relaxation:
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- ExSM: As per length of service (up to 8 years)
- Railway Staff, Widows, Act Apprentices etc. get relaxation as per rules

🛠️ Selection Process

The recruitment will consist of the following stages:

CBT-1 (Computer Based Test - Screening)
- 75 Questions | 60 mins | 1 mark each | Negative marking ⅓
- Subjects: Mathematics, Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness
- Minimum Marks: UR/EWS – 40%, OBC – 30%, SC – 30%, ST – 25%
CBT-2
- Part A (100 Qs | 90 mins): For final merit
  Subjects: Mathematics, Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering
- Part B (75 Qs | 60 mins): Trade-specific, only qualifying (35%)
CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test)
- Only for ALP post | No negative marking
- Minimum qualifying T-score: 42 per test
- Final merit: 70% CBT-2 Part A + 30% CBAT
Document Verification
Medical Fitness Test – A-1 category (strict eyesight, physical fitness)

Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/6 (without glasses)
Near Vision: 0.6, 0.6 (without glasses)
No Lasik or eye surgeries allowed
Must pass Colour, Binocular, Night, and Field Vision Tests
Vision Certificate (Annexure VIA) and Declaration (Annexure VIB) mandatory

Selection of RRB and account creation is final and cannot be changed

Multiple applications will be rejected and lead to debarment
