π’ Important Dates:
- Online application submission will begin on 15th April 2025.
- The last date for submission of online application is 7th May 2025 (till 11:59 PM).
- The last date for payment of application fees is 9th May 2025 (till 11:59 PM).
π Total Vacancies:
A total of 424 posts are available for the position of Nursing Officer. The distribution includes 219 posts for Unreserved (UR) category, 47 for Scheduled Caste (SC), 123 for Other Backward Classes - Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), and 35 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS). Out of the total, 16 posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) under specified disability categories.
Note: The number of vacancies is tentative and may vary.

π Essential Qualification:
Candidates must meet either of the following educational qualifications:
Option A
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing from a recognized university or institute; or
- Regular B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university or institute; or
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized university or institute; and
- Registered as Nurse and Midwife (RN & RM) with State Nursing Council.
Option B
- Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Board or Council; and
- Registered as Nurse and Midwife (RN & RM) with State Nursing Council; and
- One year of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after completing the above educational qualification.

π Age Criteria:
The age limit is 18 to 30 years as on the last date of application. Age relaxation will be provided as follows:
5 years for SC candidates,
3 years for OBC candidates,
10 years for PwBD candidates,
5 years for Central Government Employees who have rendered at least 3 years of regular service,
and length of military service plus 3 years for Ex-servicemen.

π΅ Application Fee:
General category, OBC-NCL, and EWS candidates must pay βΉ1000.
Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates are required to pay βΉ800.
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from paying the fee.
The fee must be deposited online only. Payments made via cheque, postal order, or demand draft will not be accepted.

𦽠Reservation for PwBD:
Out of 424 posts, 16 have been reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities. Only those with at least 40% disability falling under specified categories such as One Arm (OA), One Leg (OL), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Dwarfism (Dw), Acid Attack Victims (AAV), Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD), and Multiple Disabilities (MD) are eligible. A disability certificate issued by a competent authority is required.

π§Ύ Selection Process:
The selection will be based solely on the merit of a written examination.
There will be no interview.
The exam date and centre details will be notified on the official website.
Admit Cards will be available online and must be downloaded using the registration number and password.
Candidates must bring the admit card along with a recent passport-size photograph to the examination centre.

π§ββοΈ Pay Scale and Probation Period:
Selected candidates will be appointed at Pay Matrix Level 7 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission, with a pay range of βΉ44,900 to βΉ1,42,400 along with applicable allowances.
The probation period will be of two years. Completion of a two-week induction training is mandatory for successful completion of the probation period.

Candidates must bring two printouts of the application form along with original and photocopies of the following documents:
- Educational qualification certificates (Degree/Diploma)
- Registration certificate with State Nursing Council
- Experience certificate (if applicable)
- Category certificate (SC/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD)
- Birth certificate or matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth
- Age relaxation proof (if applicable)
- Departmental candidate proof (if applicable)
