Vacancy Details
Translator (Dari):
- Department: Signal Intelligence Directorate, Integrated Defence Staff Headquarters, Ministry of Defence
- Vacancy: 1 (UR category, suitable for PwBD)
- Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
- Age Limit: 35 years
- Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Dari language with English or Diploma in Dari language with interpretership or translation standard
- Desirable: Three years’ experience in teaching and/or translating Dari into English and vice-versa
- Duties: Translation of intercepted traffic, maintenance of foreign language publications, and collation of intelligence information
- Location: New Delhi with liability to serve anywhere in India
- Other Conditions: Governed by the New Contributory Pension Scheme from 01.01.2004.
Assistant Director General of Shipping:
- Department: Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways
- Vacancies: 2 (SC-01, UR-01)
- Pay Scale: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC
- Age Limit: 40 years
- Essential Qualifications: Degree from a recognized University with five years’ experience in Administration and Establishment matters
- Desirable: Degree in Law, knowledge of Merchant Shipping laws
- Duties: Head of various branches of the Directorate, policy formulation, supervision, and control of respective branches
- Location: Directorate General of Shipping, Mumbai
- Other Conditions: Governed by the New Contributory Pension Scheme from 01.01.2004.
