Job Opening: Alumni Relations Manager (Contractual)
Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, is inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for the Alumni Relations Manager position. This is a contract-based role, initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
Job Details:
- Job Title: Alumni Relations Manager
- Number of Posts: 01
- Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month (May vary for exceptionally qualified candidates)
- Job Type: Contractual (Initially for one year, extendable based on performance)
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate with First Class and at least 8 years of experience in administrative support functions, relationship management, or a similar role (preferably in the corporate sector).
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with First Class with relevant experience.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Cloud-based tools, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media platforms.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks seamlessly with high attention to detail.
- Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Writing and editing emails, preparing communications on behalf of the Dean.
- Alumni Database Management: Updating alumni information and handling the Alumni portal.
- Social Media & Content Creation: Managing and creating content for social media campaigns.
- Event Management: Organizing reunions, scheduling meetings, catering services, and handling logistics.
- Accounting & Fundraising: Managing alumni fund records and performing accounting duties.
- Communication & Outreach: Engaging with students, alumni, donors, and potential donors.
- Event Reporting & Analysis: Maintaining attendee databases and analyzing event success.
- Confidentiality: Ensuring privacy and security of sensitive alumni-related information.

Selection Process:

Additional Information:
- Candidates currently employed in government/private organizations must submit a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from their employer at the time of the interview.

- The contract can be terminated at any time with a one-month notice from either side.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
