Applications are invited for the recruitment of Anganwadi Workers (AWW) and Anganwadi Helpers (AWH) for various Anganwadi Centres in the Union Territory of Chandigarh. Anganwadi Workers
- Vacancies: 7
- Educational Qualification: Minimum 10+2 (Intermediate)
- Age Limit: 18-35 years
- Monthly Honorarium: ₹4,500 from Centre Budget + ₹3,600 from State Budget
Anganwadi Helpers
- Vacancies: 32
- Educational Qualification: Minimum 10+2 (Intermediate)
- Age Limit: 18-35 years
- Monthly Honorarium: ₹2,500 from Centre Budget + ₹1,800 from State Budget

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Minimum qualification: 10+2 pass.
Residence:
- Applicant should be a female resident of the local community or an area within a 3-km radius of the Anganwadi Centre.
- In special cases, applications from the SDM-wise zone may be considered.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 35 years

Roles & Responsibilities
Anganwadi Workers:
- Conduct community engagement and support activities under the Poshan 2.0 program.
- Maintain data and reports using the Poshan Tracker app.
- Organize nutrition programs, health checkups, and pre-school activities for children aged 3-6 years.
- Provide counseling on breastfeeding, health education, and family planning.
- Coordinate with local institutions and health officials.
Anganwadi Helpers:
- Cook and serve food to beneficiaries.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the Anganwadi Centre.
- Assist in pre-school activities and support the Anganwadi Worker in daily operations.
