Post: Bank’s Medical Consultant (BMC)
Location: Main Office Building, Central Vista, Sector – 17, Chandigarh
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 9:45 AM – 1:15 PM (subject to change based on RBI requirements)
Contract Period: 3 years (non-renewable)

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
- MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Postgraduate degree in General Medicine (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience practicing allopathic medicine in any hospital or clinic as a Registered Medical Practitioner.
Proximity to Workplace:
- The applicant should have a dispensary or residence within 10-15 km of the Bank’s dispensary.
Category Reservation:
- Candidates applying under OBC must ensure they meet the reservation requirements (Non-Creamy Layer) and provide valid certificates as per Government of India rules.

Remuneration:
- ₹1,000/- per hour (fixed throughout the contract period).
- Additional monthly allowances:
- ₹1,000/- as conveyance expenses.
- ₹1,000/- as reimbursement of mobile charges.
- If required to work on public holidays: ₹1,000/- per hour as compensation.

Selection Process:
Shortlisting:

- The contract is purely temporary and will not provide any claim for permanent employment.
- No superannuation benefits (Pension/Provident Fund/Gratuity) or perquisites will be provided.
- The contract is subject to termination with three months’ notice from either side.
- The Bank reserves the right to alter duty hours, remuneration, or other terms as necessary.
