Job Details

Applications are invited for 63 posts of Clerk on an adhoc basis for a period of 6 months or until regular appointments are made by the Hon’ble High Court, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science or equivalent from a recognized university.
Must have passed Punjabi as one of the subjects in Matriculation.
Proficiency in computer operations is required.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 37 years as of January 1, 2024.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Punjab Government rules for reserved categories.

Vacancy Information

The total number of vacancies is 63, which includes actual and anticipated vacancies across categories such as General, SC, BC/OBC, PWD, and Ex-Servicemen.

Pay Scale

The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹29,200.

Selection Process

Written Examination:
- Subjects:
  - English Composition: 50 Marks
  - General Knowledge: 50 Marks
- Candidates must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and 40% marks in aggregate to qualify.
Computer Proficiency Test/Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates (10 times the number of vacancies) will be called for a Computer Proficiency Test/Interview.

- Fill the prescribed application form in CAPITAL LETTERS.

- Submit the signed application form in an envelope superscribed as “Application for the Post of Clerk on Adhoc Basis”.
- Each envelope must contain only one application.
