Eligibility and Terms of Appointment
- Category of Post: Group ‘B’.
- Eligibility:
- Retirees/Pensioners who retired as Tehsildar or from an equivalent post from the Government of India, State Governments, Union Territory Administrations, Boards, or Corporations.
- The retiree/pensioner must be engaged against a post equivalent to the one held at retirement, not a higher post.
- Age Limit: Below 65 years.
- Remuneration:
- Fixed monthly remuneration calculated by deducting the basic pension from the last drawn pay.
- No increments, dearness allowance, or HRA during the tenure of the contract.
- Example Calculation: For a retiree with a last pay of ₹1,55,900 and a pension of ₹77,950, the fixed monthly remuneration will be ₹77,950 (₹1,55,900 - ₹77,950).

Key Conditions
- Initial Appointment: Contractual for one year or until the position is filled through regular recruitment (promotion, deputation, or direct recruitment), whichever is earlier.
- Extension: Renewable annually based on performance and task review, up to a maximum of five years after superannuation.
- Leave: 1.5 days per completed month of service. Leave accumulation beyond a calendar year is not permitted.
- Office Hours: As per departmental norms. Full-time engagement is required, with no other paid or unpaid employment allowed.
- Ethics & Integrity: An agreement must be executed upon appointment, ensuring adherence to ethical and integrity standards.

Additional Benefits
- Transport Allowance: A fixed amount for commuting, not exceeding the rate applicable at the time of retirement.
- TA/DA: For official tours, if applicable, as per entitlement at the time of retirement.

Disqualifications and Termination
- The contractual engagement is purely temporary with no claim to the post.
- Services can be terminated with one month’s notice from either side.
- Engagement will automatically cease upon the appointment of a regular candidate.
- No vigilance/court case/disciplinary action should be pending against the applicant.
