The online application process for the Bihar CHO Recruitment 2024 begins on 1st November 2024 and will close on 21st November 2024. Candidates must complete their application and fee payment within this period.

Application Fees
For male candidates from the UR, EWS, BC, and EBC categories, the application fee is ₹500. Female candidates from these categories need to pay ₹250. For SC, ST (Bihar domicile), and PwBD candidates, the fee is ₹250. All payments must be made online.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the position of Community Health Officer, candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- B.Sc. Nursing with successful completion of a 6-month integrated Certificate in Community Health (CCH) curriculum
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with successful completion of a 6-month integrated CCH curriculum
- B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, or GNM passed
The age limit is 21-45 years as of 1st October 2024.

Vacancy Distribution
Out of the 4500 vacancies, 979 are for the UR category, 245 for EWS, 1243 for SC, 55 for ST, 1170 for EBC, and 640 for BC. Additionally, 160 positions are reserved for Women Backward Classes (WBC).

Final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the availability of vacancies as per the reservation roster.
