Vacancy Details:
- Total Positions: 27 (UR-08, EWS-04, OBC-09, SC-04, ST-02)
- Reservation: Positions are reserved as per government norms for UR, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST.
- Suitability for PwBD: Suitable for candidates with benchmark disabilities such as:
- Blindness and Low Vision: Blind (B) or Low Vision (LV).

Pay Scale:
- Level-07 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

- SC/ST: 35 years
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following qualification requirements:
Option A:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Application or Computer Science OR
- Master of Technology with specialization in Computer Application OR
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Technology from a recognized University or Institute.
Option B:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application, Computer Science, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized University.
- Experience: Minimum of two years in electronic data processing work, including programming experience in a recognized institution or government office.
Option C:
- A Level diploma from the Department of Electronic Accredited Computer Courses OR a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of three years in electronic data processing work, including programming experience in a recognized institution or government office.
Desirable Knowledge:
- Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Visual C++.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
- Experience with RISC-based computer systems under UNIX or UNIX-like operating systems or Windows Networking/Environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Assistant Programmer will be responsible for:
- Information Management: Collection, collation, and processing of information.
- Programming Support: Assist in programming, analysis, and Management Information System (MIS) support.
- Crime Scene Data Recovery: Support in scientific data recovery from computerized crime scenes.
- Training: Conduct training and refresher courses for executive and law staff (CRIMES module) and administrative staff (ADMINs module).

Selection Process
Shortlisting of candidates may involve:
- Higher Educational Qualifications than the minimum requirement.
- Additional Relevant Experience.
- Desirable Qualifications.
- Recruitment Test (RT): A test may be conducted, followed by an interview for final selection.
- Weightage: 75% for the recruitment test and 25% for the interview in determining final merit.
Category-wise Interview Suitability Marks
- UR/EWS: 50 marks
- OBC: 45 marks
- SC/ST/PwBD: 40 marks

- General/OBC/EWS Male Candidates: ₹25
- Exemptions: Female, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted.

Relaxations & Concessions
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen and Central Government employees may also receive additional age relaxation as per rules.
Disability Certification:
- PwBD candidates require a certificate from a government-recognized Medical Board.
- PwBD candidates with 40% or more disability are eligible for age relaxation and other benefits.
Scribe Facility:
- Available for candidates with benchmark disabilities such as blindness, BA (both arms affected), and cerebral palsy.

- Experience Certificates: Detailed certificates specifying duration and job nature, on official letterhead.
