3. Pay Scales
- Senior Resident & Senior Medical Officer: Level-11 in Pay Matrix with starting pay of ₹67,700 + NPA
- Senior Demonstrator (Medical): Same as above
- Senior Demonstrator (Non-Medical): Level-10 with minimum pay of ₹56,100
- Junior Demonstrator (Medical/Non-Medical): Level-6 with pay of ₹35,400 + NPA (where applicable)

4. Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years as on the last date of application (24.11.2024).
- Educational Qualifications: Specific qualifications for each specialty include:
- Senior Residents: MD/MS/MDS in relevant specialty as recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Demonstrators: M.Sc., M.A., Ph.D., or relevant degrees as required for specific departments.
Candidates must register with the Central or State Medical Council as applicable.

5. Age Relaxation
Age relaxations are provided as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years (additional relaxations for SC/ST and OBC)
- Central Govt. Civilian Employees: 5 years for general; 8 years for OBC; 10 years for SC/ST

6. Reservation Benefits
- SC/ST/OBC: Valid caste certificate is required.
- OBC Non-Creamy Layer: Must provide certificate issued after 01.04.2024.
- EWS: Income and Asset Certificate required with an income limit of ₹8 lakh.
- PwBD: Valid disability certificate required for eligibility.

7. Selection Procedure, Examination, and Syllabus
- Selection Stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT): 75 marks, consisting of objective-type questions. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
- Departmental Interview & Assessment: 25 marks
- Qualifying Marks:
- General/EWS: 40%
- SC/ST/OBC: 35%
Examination Centers:
- Bengaluru, Chandigarh (Tricity), Delhi/NCR, Kolkata
Syllabus: Based on the prescribed qualifications for each post and may cover professional and specialized topics.
