Recruitment of Project Personnel for Biomedical Instruments and Devices Hub, PGIMER, Chandigarh
The Biomedical Instruments & Devices Hub, PGIMER, Chandigarh, invites applications for several project-based positions to support its ongoing research and innovation activities. The positions are initially for three months, from 1st December 2024 to 28th February 2025. Interested candidates with relevant qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply.
Available Positions:
Clinical Validation Coordinator
- No. of Vacancies: 1
- Qualification: M.Sc. (Life Sciences) with Honours; Ph.D. in Life Sciences with a minimum of 5 years of experience after the highest degree
- Age Limit: 45 years*
- Salary: Rs. 75,000 per month (consolidated)
Innovation Coordinator
- No. of Vacancies: 1
- Qualification: MPH; Ph.D. in Life Sciences with a minimum of 1-year experience after the highest degree
- Age Limit: 40 years*
- Salary: Rs. 50,000 per month (consolidated)
Biomedical Engineer
- No. of Vacancies: 1
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in a relevant branch with at least 2 years of experience after the highest degree
- Age Limit: 35 years*
- Salary: Rs. 40,000 per month (consolidated)
Senior Research Fellow
- No. of Vacancies: 2
- Qualification: BDS/MBBS and MPH or PG Diploma in Public Health with at least 5 years of experience after the highest degree
- Age Limit: 40 years*
- Salary: Rs. 35,000 per month + HRA
Secretariat Assistant

- Qualification: B.A./B.Sc. with B.Lib/M.Lib/MLIS with a minimum of 5 years of experience after the highest degree
- Age Limit: 45 years*
- Salary: Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
Data Entry Operator
- No. of Vacancies: 2
- Qualification: B.A./B.Com with M.A. or Diploma/BCA/MCA in Computer Applications with at least 2 years of experience after the highest degree
- Age Limit: 30 years*
- Salary: Rs. 23,000 per month (consolidated)
*Note: Age relaxation of five years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Recruitment Process:
- Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test on 14th November 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Auditorium of Advanced Pediatrics Centre, PGIMER.
- Interview: Those who clear the written test will proceed to an interview on the same day at 11:00 AM.
- Document Verification: Candidates must bring the original and a self-attested copy of all documents for verification. Missing documents may lead to disqualification.
Selected candidates will be expected to start on 1st December 2024. No TA/DA will be provided.
