DIRECT RECRUITMENT / DEPUTATION FOR NON-FACULTY POSITION
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali, an Institute of National Importance, was established by the Government of India, Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD) in 2007 to conduct research in frontier areas of science and to provide quality education and research at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. IISER Mohali is seeking dedicated, committed, and eligible citizens of India for the following Executive Engineer post on Direct Recruitment/Deputation basis.

1. Post Details:

2. Age Limit:
- For Direct Recruitment: Maximum 50 years
- For Deputation: Not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of application.

3. Educational Qualification & Experience:
Educational Qualifications:
- First-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
Experience:
- For Direct Recruitment:
- 10 years of experience at the level of Assistant Engineer or an equivalent position in Pay Level-7 or above;
- OR 5 years of experience as an Assistant Executive Engineer or equivalent position in Pay Level-10 or above in reputed Government Institutions/Public Works Organisations/PSUs, dealing in construction projects as per Government/CPWD norms.

General Conditions:
- Nationality: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Employment Nature: The post is regular.
- Pension Scheme: Selected candidates will be covered under the New Contributory Pension Scheme as notified by the Government of India.
- Application Review: The candidates must read the required minimum qualifications, age limits, and eligibility criteria carefully before applying. The applications will be screened based on the data provided in the application form. Candidates must ensure they meet the minimum essential qualifications.
- Persons with Disabilities: Candidates with benchmark disabilities, fulfilling the eligibility conditions, are encouraged to apply. Only those with a disability of 40% or more will be eligible for reservation under the PwD category. Relevant disability certificates must be submitted.

- Decision of IISER Mohali: The decision of IISER Mohali in all matters regarding eligibility, application acceptance, criteria, mode of selection, or rejection will be final.

- Vacancies: The number of vacancies is tentative. IISER Mohali reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts at the time of selection or not fill any of the advertised posts.

- False Information: If any information is found false at any stage, the candidature will be canceled.
- Communication: IISER Mohali will communicate via the email ID and mobile number provided by the candidates.

5. Selection Procedure:
The Institute may adopt the following shortlisting criteria for interviews or written tests:
- Higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed.
- Higher relevant experience than the minimum prescribed.
- Counting experience before and after acquiring essential qualifications.
- Experience in Central/State Government/Public Sector Enterprises.
- Screening tests may be conducted for shortlisting.

6. Legal Proceedings:
Any legal proceedings related to this advertisement shall be instituted in the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh only.

7. Travel Reimbursement:
For candidates attending the interview:
- By Rail: AC II Tier fare
- By Air:
- < 1000 km: ₹12,000
- 1001 to 1500 km: ₹18,000
- > 1500 km: ₹24,000
Tickets must be booked through authorized travel agents as per DoPT OM dated 29th August 2022, and only those tickets will be reimbursed.

8. Deputation Terms:
- The deputation period will be for 3 years, extendable up to 5 years with approval.
- Deputation will be subject to vigilance clearance from the parent department.
