The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) invites applications for various positions on a contract basis. Below are the details for each post, including qualifications, experience, salary, and important instructions.

1. Database Administrator (DBA)
- Salary: Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 (Negotiable)
- Skills Required: MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server (OEM certification preferred)
- Essential Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. (IT) from a recognized university
- OEM certification is preferable
- Minimum 3 years of experience in database administration, operation, and maintenance of MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server
- Selection Criteria:
Selection will be based on the detailed profile requirements and interview. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview process.

2. Senior Programmer (.Net)
- Salary: Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 90,000 (Negotiable)
- Skills Required: .Net, MS SQL Server, JSON, JQuery
- Essential Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. (IT)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software development (Microsoft .Net, MS SQL, etc.)
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in government sectors.
- Selection Criteria:
Selection will be based on the detailed profile and interview. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview process.

3. Programmer (.Net)
- Salary: Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000 (Negotiable)
- Skills Required: .Net, MS SQL Server, JSON, JQuery
- Essential Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. (IT)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software development with expertise in Microsoft .Net, SQL Server, JSON, and JQuery
- Selection Criteria:
Selection will be based on the profile requirements and interview. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview process.

Important Instructions:
Application Process:
- Applications must be submitted online through spicindia.com.
- An application fee of Rs. 500/- must be paid online via debit/credit card or internet banking (non-refundable).
- Candidates must upload their recent photograph (up to 50kb), signature (up to 50kb), and resume in PDF format.
- The final application form should be printed, and candidates must affix their photograph in the provided space and bring the printed form to the interview.
Documents Required:
- Scanned and self-attested copies of the following documents must be submitted as part of the application:
- Proof of Date of Birth
- Educational qualification certificates
- Work experience certificates
- Documents should be in English, Hindi, or Punjabi. If in another language, a translated copy should be provided.
Communication:
- Every successful submission will generate a unique Application ID.
- Communication regarding test/interview dates will be made through the candidate’s registered email address.
Interview Process:
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email regarding the interview date, time, and venue.
- SPIC reserves the right to screen applications and call only a limited number of candidates for the interview.
Contractual Nature:
- These posts are contractual, and in case of a large number of applications, SPIC may conduct a screening test.
No TA/DA:
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the test or interview.
Note: Candidates already deployed through SPIC will not be considered for any posts in other departments.
