Chandigarh International Airport Limited (CHIAL) has released an Engagement Advertisement (No. 06/2024) for the recruitment of ILBS Screeners (Certified) and ILBS Screeners (Trainee) on a fixed-term contract basis. This contract will be for a period of three years, with the possibility of an extension for two more years based on need and performance. The recruitment is for Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport Chandigarh, SAS Nagar Mohali.

Eligibility Criteria (as of 28/08/2024):
- ILBS Screeners (Certified):
  - Educational Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate / 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board/University/Institution.
  - Valid BCAS Basic AVSEC (14 days) Certificate (valid until 31/12/2024).
  - Valid BCAS Screener Certification (ILHBS) (valid until 31/12/2024).
  - Valid Dangerous Goods Certification (valid until 31/12/2024).
- ILBS Screeners (Trainee):
  - Educational Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate / 12th or equivalent from a recognized Board/University/Institution.
  - Essential: Possess valid BCAS Basic AVSEC (14 days) Certificate (valid until 31/12/2024).
Age Limit (as of 28/08/2024):
- ILBS Screeners (Certified): Maximum 45 years
- ILBS Screeners (Trainee): Maximum 40 years

Selection Process:

The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, either in person or via video conferencing (VC). The exact date and time of the interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates only.

Salary Structure:

ILBS Screeners (Certified):
- First Year: ₹40,113 per month
- Second Year: ₹42,119 per month
- Third Year: ₹44,225 per month
- Additional benefits include PF, Bonus, Night Compensation Allowance, OTA, and Medical Policy Insurance premium reimbursement as per CHIAL rules.
ILBS Screeners (Trainee): ₹25,000 per month consolidated. After passing the required training and certification, they may be placed as Certified ILBS Screeners.

Experience Certificate(s).
PAN Card.
Aadhar Card.
Basic AVSEC / Screener / DG Certificates.
Recent passport-size colored photograph.
Last Salary Slip (if employed).

General Conditions:

CHIAL reserves the right to modify or terminate the contract based on performance or other criteria.
Selected candidates will be responsible for bearing the cost of the pre-engagement medical examination.
The contract can be terminated by either party with a 90-day notice or equivalent payment.
