PUBLIC NOTICE
The National Health Mission (NHM) requires qualified contractual staff under NHM and PM-ABHIM for various positions. Applications are invited for the following posts:
1. Epidemiologist (NP-NCD) under NHM
- No. of Posts: 01 (General)
- Qualification:
- Essential:
- MBBS Degree from a recognized University.
- MD/DNB in Preventive & Social Medicine/Community Health Administration.
- Registration with State Medical Council or Medical Council of India-New Delhi.
- Preferential:
- 2 years’ experience in Health Management/Public Health Programme/Health services after obtaining the Postgraduate degree.
- CCC+ Course on Computer Concepts Plus (120 hours).
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 75,000 per month.
2. Programme Manager under PM-ABHIM
- No. of Posts: 01 (General)
- Qualification:
- Essential:
- MBBS/BDS with Post Graduate Degree in Hospital Administration/Health Management from a recognized Institute/University (full-time course).
- 2 years’ experience in handling National Health Programmes.
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 45,000 per month.
3. Budget Finance Officer under NHM
- No. of Posts: 01 (General)
- Qualification:
- Essential:
- Graduate and must have passed the SAS Exam.
- Experience:
- Retired person of the rank of AC(F&A)/DC(F&A)/SO (Section Officer) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Management in the Government sector.
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 40,000 per month (Note: Salary will not exceed the last pay drawn minus pension).
4. Consultant IEC (NUHM) under NHM
- No. of Posts: 01 (General)
- Qualification:
- Essential:
- MBA in Mass Communication (full-time course)
OR
- Post Graduate Degree in Mass Communication (full-time course).
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience in the relevant field.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of Web Designing/Photoshop/Coral Draw.
- Experience working in a Health Department is preferred.
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 39,940 per month.
5. District Microbiologist (IDSP) under NHM
- No. of Posts: 01 (General)
- Qualification:
- Essential:
- Medical Graduate with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Microbiology, Virology, Pathology, or other lab sciences (full-time course).
OR
- Medical Graduate with 2 years’ experience in laboratory sciences (full-time course).
OR
- M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology (full-time course).
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Medical Microbiology.
- Experience in public health systems, implementing laboratory quality assurance systems, organizing training programs, and operational research is desirable.
- Consolidated Salary: Rs. 40,000 per month.

Age Limit:
The age limit for all positions is up to 60 years.
Walk-In-Interview Details:
- Date: 12th September 2024
- Time: 9:30 AM (Registration between 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM)
- Venue: Office of Mission Director, National Health Mission, 4th Floor, Administrative Block, Govt. Multi-Speciality Hospital, Sector-16, Chandigarh.
The above posts are contractual, initially valid until 31st March 2025, and may be extended based on performance and project duration.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates from Gen/SC/OBC categories who meet the qualifications may attend the walk-in interview. Candidates must bring their biodata in the prescribed application format (available on the official website), along with self-attested copies of certificates/testimonials (from matriculation onwards) and a recent passport-size photograph duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. Original certificates should also be brought for verification.
Note:
- No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.
- The Mission Director reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts and may cancel the walk-in interview without assigning any reason.
