Punjab & Sind Bank, a Government of India Undertaking, is inviting applications from eligible Indian citizens for the recruitment of Specialist Officers (SO) in Junior Management Grade Scale I (JMGS I), Middle Management Grade Scale II (MMGS II), Middle Management Grade Scale III (MMGS III), and Senior Management Grade Scale IV (SMGS IV). Positions Available:
Officer - Information Technology (JMGS I):
- Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech or MCA/PG Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience: Gate 2024 qualified candidates will be preferred.
- Age Limit: 20-32 years.
- Job Profile: Handling IT infrastructure and related services within the bank.
Officer - Rajbhasha (JMGS I):
- Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR Post Graduate Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree level.
- Experience: Minimum one year post-qualification experience in relevant field.
- Age Limit: 20-32 years.
- Job Profile: Managing the official language policy of the bank.
Manager - Accounts (MMGS II):
- Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAI.
- Experience: Minimum 1-year post-qualification experience in credit appraisal, processing, operations in a Bank/NBFC/FIs/Credit Rating Agency.
- Age Limit: 25-35 years.
- Job Profile: Handling financial accounts, tax matters, and financial statement preparation.
Senior Manager - Risk (MMGS III):
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Statistics or MBA in Finance, Banking, or PGDBM in Banking/Finance or an advanced degree in Analytical fields.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience with at least 3 years in Risk Functions.
- Age Limit: 25-38 years.
- Job Profile: Managing risk analysis and assessment for the bank.
Chief Manager - Information Technology (SMGS IV):
- Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E in Computer Science/IT/Electronics or MCA.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in IT management in the BFSI sector.
- Age Limit: 28-40 years.
- Job Profile: Overseeing the bank’s IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and application systems.
Other positions include roles in Cyber Security, Software Development, Human Resources, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Forex Management, Law, Treasury Management, and more. Each position has specific educational and professional requirements, along with defined age limits and job profiles.

Selection Procedure:
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
Written Test:
- The written test will include sections on English Language, General Awareness, and Professional Knowledge.
- The test will have 100 questions, each carrying one mark. The total time duration will be 105 minutes.
- Minimum qualifying marks for General & EWS candidates are 40%, and for Reserved Categories, it is 35%.
Short-listing:
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the written test and their professional experience.
Personal Interview:
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The final selection will be based on the combined score of the written test and the interview.
Note: For certain IT-related positions, GATE 2024 scores will be considered for shortlisting instead of a written test.

Pay Scale & Benefits:
- Officer - JMGS I: ₹48,480 - ₹85,920
- Manager - MMGS II: ₹64,820 - ₹93,960
- Senior Manager - MMGS III: ₹85,920 - ₹1,05,280
- Chief Manager - SMGS IV: ₹1,02,300 - ₹1,20,940
Employees will also receive DA, HRA/Leased Accommodation, CCA, Medical, LTC, Terminal Benefits, and other perquisites as per the bank’s prevailing rules.

Probation Period & Service Bond:
- Probation Period: 1-2 years depending on the scale.
- Service Bond: Candidates will be required to sign a service bond, committing to serve the bank for a minimum period (2-3 years depending on the scale) or pay a bond amount equivalent to 3 months’ gross salary.
