Recruitment for Project Assistant & Project Associate
Applications Invited for Temporary Positions Under the Project: “Structural Safety Audit of Hospital and School Buildings”
The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research, Chandigarh is inviting applications for the posts of Project Assistant and Project Associate, on a purely temporary basis, under the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority-sponsored project. The selection process includes offline skill tests, written tests, and interviews.
Positions Available:
1. Project Assistant (Field Assistant) / Project Assistant (Office Assistant)
- Number of Positions: 5
- Salary:
- Field Assistant: ₹21,600/- (₹20,000 + HRA-8%)
- Field Allowance: ₹775/day when on the field
- Office Assistant: ₹23,200/- (₹20,000 + HRA for Chandigarh - 16%)
- Duration: Up to June 2025
- Essential Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering/Technology/Architecture or higher
- Essential Requirement: Proficiency/experience in operating Drafting Tools and Office Applications (MS Office).
- Minimum Experience:
- Diploma with 2 years’ experience in Civil Engineering site jobs, Drafting tool software, Costing, and Estimation/DNIT Preparation OR
- BE/B Tech with 1 year’s experience in the same fields.
- Screening Test: Offline test on proficiency in operating Drafting Tools (AutoCAD)/Office Applications/Field Work.
- Job Role:
- Work at site/office – Rapid Visual Survey of buildings
- Structural Survey, Architectural/Structural Plan Drafting
- Estimation and Costing, DNIT Preparation, Site Supervision
- Other assigned tasks
2. Project Associate – I
- Number of Positions: 2
- Salary: ₹35,960/- (₹31,000 + HRA-16%)
- Duration: Up to June 2025
- Essential Qualification: Master of Engineering/Technology in Civil Engineering/Technology or higher
- Essential Requirement: Expertise in Analysis and Design software (ETABS and STAAD.Pro), Drafting Tools (AutoCAD), and Office Applications.
- Screening Test: Offline test on proficiency in operating Analysis and Design software, Drafting Tools, and Office Applications.
- Job Role:
- Rapid Visual Survey of buildings, Structural Survey
- Architectural/Structural Plan Drafting, Estimation and Costing
- DNIT Preparation, Other assigned tasks
