Physical Standards and Efficiency Test
For Warder (Male):
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 7 inches (5 feet 4.5 inches for Dogras and Gurkhas).
- Chest: 33 inches unexpanded, 34.5 inches expanded.
- Vision: Normal in both eyes.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- 100 Meters Run: 15 seconds (17.5 seconds for Ex-Servicemen)
- Shot Put (7.26 Kg): 5.50 meters (5.00 meters for Ex-Servicemen)
- Rope Climbing: 15 feet (12 feet for Ex-Servicemen)
For Matron (Female):
- Height: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches
- Weight: 50 Kg and above
- Vision: Normal in both eyes.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- 100 Meters Run: 18.5 seconds (20.0 seconds for Ex-Servicewomen)
- Shot Put (5.443 Kg): 4.00 meters (3.5 meters for Ex-Servicewomen)
- Rope Climbing: 12 feet (10 feet for Ex-Servicewomen)
